TaNeDS Global 2018: Open Competition Grant Program
TaNeDs - Take a New Challenge for Drug Discovery - is an open competition grant program, initiated by Daiichi Sankyo Global. It helps realize our corporate philosophy: "Passion for Innovation. Compassion for Patients." The program serves as an interactive platform that gathers and nurtures the wisdom of researchers from diverse scientific backgrounds. It is open to researchers affiliated with universities, research institutions and/or small biotech located in Europe and the east coast of the US.
In 2011, the initiative was originally launched in Japan to help discover new lines of research through open innovation. From 2013 onwards, the global drug discovery program has expanded outside of Japan.
All EU member states plus Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Israel as well as the east coast of the US (Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, and Virginia) are eligible to participate in this program and may conduct research. TaNeDS Global is not open to undergraduate and graduate students.
Participants are selected by matching Daiichi Sankyo's research interests as well as demonstrating originality, potentiality and possibility of drug discovery.
The TaNeDS program provides close partnership between you and scientists at Daiichi Sankyo to tackle unmet medical needs.
