World Cancer Day 2019
We are proud to announce that we are supporting the new three-year campaign, "I Am and I Will" which is an empowering call for personal commitment.
February 2019 - World Cancer Day takes place every year on February 4 and is the uniting global initiative under which the world comes together to raise the profile of cancer in a positive and inspiring way. Spearheaded by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), the day aims to save millions of preventable deaths each year by raising awareness and improving education about the disease alongside calling on individuals, communities and governments across the world to take action.
Our Commitment to Address the Unmet Needs of Cancer Patients.
The new theme "I Am and I Will" represents the power of our actions taken now to reduce the burden of cancer. It also reflects the way our oncology team work: Our mission is to leverage our world-class, innovative science and push beyond traditional thinking in order to create meaningful treatments for patients with cancer. We are dedicated to transforming science into value for patients, and this sense of obligation informs everything we do.
