For the past 13 years we as Daiichi Sankyo Europe have supported young graduates from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (LMU).
“We are happy to see so many talents graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences as we believe that an interdisciplinary approach which is built into the Pharmaceutical Science curriculum is key to succeeding in the industrial development of drugs“, says Nora Urbanetz, Head of Pharmaceutical Development at Daiichi Sankyo Europe.
Katrin Pérez Anderson received the 2021 Daiichi Sankyo Master Award for her outstanding achievements in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Master degree course. Dr. Thomas Profitlich, Head of Formulation Technology at Daiichi Sankyo Europe, had the honour to hand over the Daiichi Sankyo Master Award 2021 to Ms Pérez Anderson’s supervisor in her absence.
Since 2009, we have been supporting graduates of Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (LMU) with this special award. “We want to provide long-term and sustainable support for this local cause, because our company’s European roots are in Bavaria”, says Nora Urbanetz. Over 500 of our employees are developing and manufacturing tablets in Pfaffenhofen, 60 kilometres north of the Bavarian capital of Munich.
Our ratio of R&D expenses to revenues is > 20% globally.
